This new survey-grade version of the eBee is the missing link our customers have been waiting for  "The eBee RTK offers surveying and engineering professionals the very highest positional accuracy, without the need for ground control points. It is compatible with customers' existing base stations, and each mission's entire workflow - including the transmission of GNSS corrections to the drone - is integrated within the system's software."

How is the eBee RTK different to the standard eBee?
The key difference is the absolute accuracy possible without the use of Ground Control Points. The standard eBee achieves 2 - 5 m, but thanks to its ability to its built-in GNSS receiver the eBee RTK can achieved down to 3 cm - without the need to set GCPs (for less time spent in the field and high precision even in inaccessible areas).

The eBee RTK can be used in either of three different ways:

- Real Time Kinematic (positioning the base station on a known position)

- Virtual base station (requires internet connection & VRS/Ntrip network subscription)

- Post processing (on-site or in the office later)

There are 3 ways to work with the eBee RTK:
1. Real Time Kinematic
• Place your base station on a known position
• Correction data is streamed to the drone via its eMotion flight control software and ground modem
2. Virtual base station
• Configure the drone's eMotion software to receive VRS/Ntrip correction data (internet connection & VRS/Ntrip subscription required)
• Creates a virtual base station location
• Correction data is streamed to the drone via its eMotion flight control software and ground modem
3. Post processing
• Position your base station in a convenient on-site location
• Its coordinates are set automatically in eMotion 2
• The base station streams correction data to the drone via eMotion and the ground modem
• Post-flight, geotag images with correction data either on-site (requires internet access) or in the office later
